2021 San Marino MotoGP, MotorLand - Saturday Practice & Qualifying LIVE! Live updates, quotes and results from Saturday Practice and Qualifying for the 2021 San Marino MotoGP at MotorLand! Last year's cooler October events aside, San Marino has traditionally been a happy hunting ground for Espargaro and Aprilia in the past, but what will nine-time premier-class winner Vinales do on his debut with the machine? Yamaha test rider Cal Crutchlow is replacing Vinales alongside title leader Fabio Quartararo at the Factory Yamaha team for the second event in a row, with Jake Dixon likewise staying at Petronas Yamaha on the injured Franco Morbidelli's 2019 A-spec bike. Quartararo, who claimed a fifth win of the season at Silverstone to push his world championship advantage up to 65-points over reigning title holder Joan Mir, has labelled San Marino as 'probably his worst circuit' but few would bet against at least a podium challenge by the Frenchman on Sunday. The Suzuki was the most competitive package at San Marino last season with Mir and team-mate Alex Rins standing on the rostrum in both events. Rins also claimed the factory's first victory of the season, a feat he will be looking to repeat this weekend on the back of a strong second place at Silverstone. Another rider to watch out for will be home hero Marc Marquez, unbeaten at the circuit since 2015 (having missed last year's races through injury). Like Sachsenring, where Marquez put Honda back on top of the podium for the first time since his arm injury, San Marino is also an anti-clockwise circuit. Ducati struggled at San Marino last season but hopes the warmer September weather will play into its hands. Johann Zarco, Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller are now third, fourth and fifth in the world championship but - like Mir - are increasingly in a fight for best of the rest behind Quartararo. Austria winner Brad Binder has climbed to sixth place and top KTM rider, the South African continues to battle forward on race day but badly needs to improve his qualifying. Despite his recent absence, Vinales still holds seventh in the world championship. His stated aim of during remaining races of this season is to settle in at Aprilia and prepare for 2022. But with a podium now in the bag and Espargaro losing just 0.2s a lap to race winner Quartararo at Silverstone, it's not out of the question that Espargaro and Vinales can now fight for what would be Aprilia's first ever win in the premier-class… San Marino MotoGP live stream 2021: how to watch San Marino Grand Prix online from anywhere After an exciting but not especially eventful visit to Britain, we're seeing a serious change-up on the grid in San Marino – Maverick Viñales straddling an Aprilia rather than a Yamaha. Will leaving the leading man Quartararo's team do him any favors, or set him further off the pace? Read on as we explain how to watch all the San Marino Grand Prix action online - no matter where you are - with our MotoGP live stream guide. After being ousted by Yamaha prior to Silverstone, Viñales was left languishing until it was confirmed that he'd be teaming up with Aprilia – something we expected to wait until next season to see. Let's just hope he doesn't over-rev this machine in petulance... Still happy at Yamaha, though, is Fabio Quartararo, who leads the standings by a gargantuan 65 points. Do we expect anyone to catch him? Well, closest is Joan Mir, but without a single win this season, we don't see any giants being toppled just yet. However, the Frenchman's career-worst was at San Marino last season at a dismal 18th place, so anything could happen. A confident competitor is Alex Marquez, who claims San Marino is one of his favorites. While we wouldn't put money of a podium, we'll certainly be keeping an eye out for the younger Marquez brother after impressive gains at Silverstone. All you need to do is follow our guide below as we explain how to watch the San Marino Grand Prix and get a MotoGP live stream from anywhere. The Italian destroyed the San Marino lap record to claim pole with a 1m46.322s and lead a Ducati 1-2 ahead of team-mate Jack Miller, with MotoGP world championship leader Fabio Quartararo securing yet another front-row start. Bagnaia says the key to his pole lap was studying Jorge Martin’s data through how he approached the final corner, allowing him to set up the chance to secure his maiden MotoGP win on Sunday. Despite taking his 11th-successive front row in qualifying this season, Quartararo has played down his hopes of fighting for a podium finish at San Marino as he doesn’t feel he has the race pace to fight with the frontrunners at the Spanish circuit. Marc Marquez will start the San Marino GP from fourth place for Honda ahead of Pramac Ducati’s Jorge Martin and Aprilia’s Aleix Espargaro – fresh from securing his team’s maiden MotoGP podium in the modern era last time out at Silverstone. Defending MotoGP world champion Joan Mir grabbed seventh pace for Suzuki in front of Honda’s Pol Espargaro, with Enea Bastianini impressing on the Avintia Ducati to qualify ninth. Johann Zarco heads up row four for Pramac Ducati in front of LCR Honda’s Takaaki Nakagami and KTM’s Brad Binder. Alex Rins was the biggest surprise in qualifying, having won at San Marino 12 months ago, as he qualified down in 20th place for Suzuki. Maverick Vinales will start his MotoGP race debut for Aprilia in 19th place, as both Petronas SRT Yamaha riders struggled in qualifying with Valentino Rossi in 21st and Jake Dixon in 22nd.
